'Reincarnated' Children Wanted for Reality Series (VIDEO)
Producers Joke Fincioen and Biagio Messina are breaking boundaries with their new series "Ghost Inside My Child" which deals with reincarnated children. The show is scheduled to air on the Bio Channel later this year, but producers first need participants for their controversial show.
Both are convinced that there are children who exhibit the tendencies and traits of the deceased. Whether reincarnation is a part of it remains to be seen, but Fincioen and Messina are interested in exploring the possibility and have begun working with a parapsychologist in order to determine whether a child may be the reincarnation of someone else.
"Children like these seem to exhibit adult-like behavior and use vocabulary and speech patterns beyond their years. Also, look for statements like, 'I used to be…' Sometimes kids pick up things from watching TV. Also, if a child claims to be a dead grandparent, it's possible they heard people talking about the dead relative or saw pictures," Loyd Auerbach told the Huffington Post.
"These kids are going through something and we're trying to figure it out. A kid will say something about their life and we research it to see if it pans out," Messina added. "I don't know what I'd do if my daughter turned out to be Grandma Messina. What do you do? Ignore it? Explore it? Hope it goes away?"
"We are looking for true stories that need to be shared, that will educate and inspire audiences about this amazing phenomenon. We want to hear the story through the family's point of view recounting what their 2-17 year old was experiencing," the ad for the national casting call reads.
The myth of reincarnation tends to stem from Eastern religions such as Buddhism, Hinduism, and some Muslim sects. The idea is that the soul of one being passes into another when the first person dies.
