Renders for Lumia phones Cityman and Talkman leaked online

The official release of Microsoft's first flagship Windows phones is still in October but it looks like fans on the Internet are already getting a generous head start with the details through a recent leak. On Thursday, prolific leaker in the tech industry Evan Blass (@evleaks) posted a pair of leaked images offering a complete look of mobile phones codenamed as Cityman and Talkman.

According to PCWorld, the phone with the cyan rear cover is the Cityman while the black one is the Talkman. The Cityman, which is slightly bigger than the other one, comes with a 5.7-inch WQHD (1440×2560) OLED display. Users can choose between matte white or black polycarbonate body and enjoy the features of Windows Hello, 64-bit Octa core Snapdragon 810, 20MP Pureview rear camera with triple LED flash and 5MP selfie snapper. The mobile device is also said to come with 3300 mAh removable battery, aluminum side buttons, Qi wireless charging and USB Type-C.

Other than its 5.2 inch WQHD (1440x2560) OLED display and hexa-core Snapdragon 808, the Talkman doesn't differ much from its bigger counterpart, as noted in Engadget. Both devices are also expected to carry 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. And although the two phones will have a little difference when it comes to the button and camera configurations, they both will have adherent camera buttons just as how it is with the other previously released Microsoft Lumia mobiles. It's also been noted that both will include an iris scanner for Windows Hello.

As reported by CNET, Microsoft has not given any confirmation regarding the leaked images and specs. At this point, it's still impossible to know whether the photos, as well as the rumored specs, are legitimate or purely based on concept art.

Fans will just have to wait and see for the official launch which may take place in an upcoming Microsoft event this October.
