The midseason finale of the ABC hit drama "Revenge" airs this Sunday. And while a finale might not seem like the ideal time to introduce new characters, the show is doing just that. Gail O'Grady will be playing the role of Conrad's first wife, as reported by E! Conrad and Victoria will be surprised by her appearance in the 13th episode, the midseason finale.
Showrunner Sunil Nayar offered some insight into Gail O'Grady's character when speaking to reporters at a midseason finale screening.

"That's someone who has always been out there and now we're pretty much planning on having her introduced at some point in time. We're pretty excited about the part and she brings with her secrets that will also blow you guys away that are going to be great," the showrunner told TV Guide.
Sunil Nayar went on to describe Conrad's first wife as "West Coast Posh," TV Guide reports.
O'Grady is no stranger to television drama. She is perhaps best known for her work in "NYPD Blue." She was nominated for three Emmys for her work on that show.
The actress has also appeared on the popular television dramas "Boston Legal," as well as "Desperate Housewives."
The midseason finale of "Revenge" will air this Sunday Dec. 15 at 9/c on the ABC network.
