Robert Griffin III is planning to debut his first big event with his Family of 3 Foundation organization next month.

Griffin, the 24-year-old Christian QB, and his wife Rebecca Griffin, officially launched their new charity, Family of 3 on Tuesday, Jan. 20. The organization seeks to assist three new families each year through financial and other means.

Now, Griffin is announcing a new event that will take place March 7, that will help families learn more about their health.

"Kick off the new year with RG3 and the rest of us at the Family of 3 Foundation by learning about healthy eating habits and workouts tailored to your specific needs and goals. The event will be run by professional nutritionists, dietitians and personal trainers who will give insightful seminars," a description of the event on Griffin's website reads. "Some of the topics will be: healthy eating do's and don'ts, diet fads, and nutrition myth busters. There will also be a dedicated Q&A session so that attendees will have the ability to ask questions they may still want answers to."

The event will take place March 7 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas. It will feature two separate schedules for adults and children.

While adults will work with nutritionists and have access to yoga, zumba and stretching, professional trainers and nutritionists will also offer their services beyond the event. The children in attendance will learn about healthy eating, while being broken up into teams for various competitions such as tug of war and sack racing.

RGIII previously spoke about the reason for making family the central theme of his organization.

"It's important to me because when you call somebody family, it means something," he told Redskins.com. "It means more to you and family has been a big part of my life. So the foundation will have ties to some aspect of my life in one way or another, and we want to be there for them in more ways than just money."
