Rick Ross Seizures: Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne Pray for Rapper's Recovery (VIDEO)

After reports emerged Friday that rapper Rick Ross had suffered a seizure while flying out of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., fans immediately took to Twitter to express their well wishes and prayers that the "Teflon Don" rapper would make a recovery.

Among those well wishers were fellow rappers Nicki Minaj, Birdman and Lil Wayne, who spoke with MTV before it was reported that Ross had suffered a second seizure.

Minaj told MTV News, "We actually been talking about him and praying for him on the trailer because he's such a crucial part of hip-hop right now and we’re just hoping he’s healthy. That’s all we can do is pray and hope that he gets some rest and comes back stronger."

Ross, whose real name is William Roberts, reportedly suffered two seizures in separate incidents Friday, with the first incident occurring during a flight from Florida that was headed for Memphis, Tenn., for a concert. The rapper's flight was immediately grounded and Ross was taken to the hospital. He appeared to be doing well not long afterwards, even commenting on his Twitter account that he was fine.

"Don't scare a ***** like that. Thanks," Elliot Wilson, a hip-hop journalist, tweeted tweeted at the time.

Ross tweeted back: "Never dat homie."

He also reportedly expressed his intent to appear at the Memphis concert Friday night, posting a video to his Twitter account from his private plane, with the note, "Memphis, here I come."

However, during a second flight, while over Alabama, Ross again suffered a seizure. The plane reportedly made an emergency landing in Birmingham. The Memphis concert was canceled.

It was reported by TMZ on Saturday that Ross was still in the hospital receiving care, but was in stable condition.

When news broke of Ross' seizure Friday afternoon, the rapper's Wikipedia entry was edited to show he had died Oct. 14, 2011, which many fans found offensive considering Ross was very much still alive. The Wikipedia entry was later amended.

Ross, also known as "The Bawse," is currently on tour and getting ready to release his new album, "God Forgives, I Don’t," which is due out in December.
