Rihanna Debuts 'Stay,' SNL Performance (VIDEO)
Rihanna has debuted her latest song, "Stay," while on "Saturday Night Live" over the weekend.
The new track will be featured on her upcoming album "Unapologetic." The album will hit stores on Nov. 19.
The piano-led ballad features Rihanna's vocals as she sings lyrics including, "Not really sure how to feel about it / something in the way you move / Makes me feel like I can't live without you / and it takes me all the way / I want you to stay."
"#SNL tonight," Rihanna posted to her nearly 27 million Twitter followers. "Don't miss. New music. Unapologetic is her name."
This week's "SNL" saw Anne Hathaway serve as host. The actress joined the cast including Jason Sudeikis, Kenan Thompson, and many others.
"Unapologetic" is Rihanna's highly anticipated 7th album and will include features by Chris Brown, Eminem, and more, according to MTV News.
During the "SNL" appearance, Rihanna also performed "Diamonds" off of her upcoming album.
It has been a busy week for the 24-year-old Barbadian singer. On Wednesday, the "Diamonds" singer performed on the runway while taping the 2012 Victoria's Secret fashion show. The event is set to air on CBS on Dec. 4.
Also, Rihanna offered a preview of her new album in exchange for pledges to benefit Hurricane Sandy victims in New York on Friday, reported Rolling Stone magazine.
On Nov. 14, the singer will commence her 777 Tour- a seven-country, seven-day tour where she will travel on a 777 Boeing jet with several fans and journalists from around the world.
As Rihann's professional life continues to flourish, her personal life often makes headlines. Although they deny being an item, Rihanna and Chris Brown were spotted together in New York City on Saturday, according to HollywoodLife.
"Chris was being spontaneous on this one," an insider said of the rumored couple's visit. "He had to stop off in NYC yesterday, but [he] had his boys thinking It was going to be for a hot second, however, he knew all along that he wanted to chill with Rihanna and spend the night in NYC before he jetted out."
Meanwhile, Rihanna was not named a winner during the weekend's MTV Europe Music Awards in Frankfurt, Germany. Alternately, fellow musicians Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift earned awards in several categories.
