Rihanna, Drake Split Rumors False? Rapper Didn't Kick Singer Off Tour
Drake and Rihanna have reportedly not split, despite rumors claiming the rapper ended their romance.
On Wednesday fans were stunned after an urban blog claimed the Canadian rapper, 27, kicked Rihanna, 26, off of the European leg of his "Would You Like a Tour?" tour. The unconfirmed report suggested Drake had reunited with an ex. However, one insider insists this is completely false
"Drake is one of the nicest, most respectful and gentlemen she's ever met and no ... he didn't say or do anything like that to her," a source told HollywoodLife.com.
The longtime friends recently began an exclusive relationship after casually dating for several months and Rihanna was photographed accompanying him on his tour in recent weeks. The Bajan singer was forced to leave the tour early due to work commitments, which sparked split rumors.
"She's got biz to attend to and will be with him when she's all done and that's the truth," the insider explained.
Both Rihanna and Drake are yet to publicly confirm their romance, however recent photographs of them holding hands during an outing in England appear to confirm dating reports.
"He's in the best mood he's been in a long time," a source told TMZ.com of Drake before confirming the Canadian rapper's relationship with Rihanna.
Prior to Drake, Rihanna was in a tumultuous relationship with Chris Brown, 24, who was convicted of assaulting her in 2009. The source claims the Bajan singer is particularly fond of the "All Me" rapper because he is a "gentleman" and she is reportedly not used to that.
"He's a gentleman and you know Rihanna isn't quite used to all that. She's used to bad boys, the ones who are hood and swagged out and real ghetto like her ex," the insider revealed. "But even though she's use to all that ratchetness, it's a real treat when she's with Drake because everything flows well."
In a recent interview Drake, who has also been linked to socialite Zoe Kravitz this year, acknowledged that he did in fact once date Rihanna, however, he insisted that they are not currently in an exclusive relationship.
"She's the ultimate fantasy. I mean, I think about it. Like, 'Man, that would be good,'" Drake told Rolling Stone about Rihanna.
"We have fun together, she's cool and s---. But we're just friends. That's my dog for life," he said.
