Rihanna Judging Season Two of 'X Factor?'
Rihanna may be the latest singer in negotiations to become a judge on the upcoming season of "X Factor."
The 24-year-old Barbadian pop star is reportedly in talks to join entertainment executives and talent judges Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid on the panel that chooses and develops talent for the show. Last season's judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger from last season departed from the show.
Since then, various singers have been associated with the next season of the talent competition. Beyonce, Leanne Rhymes, Janet Jackson and most recently Britney Spears were all reportedly being considered to join the television show.

However, negotiations with 30-year-old Spears reportedly came to a head when the singer's representatives wanted $20 million instead of the $10 million being offered by the show, according to The Wrap reports.
Although Cowell spoke with reporters about the upcoming season of "X Factor," he has yet to disclose the names of the actual judges. However, Cowell did say the next two judges would be two women and that a lot of people "have entered the fray."
Still, Rihanna seems to be a serious consideration for the upcoming season, according to Perez Hilton. The Barbadian singer has already made several appearances on both the U.S. and U.K. shows in the past.
Rihanna performed on the U.S. version of the show previously and helped Reid decide which artists he should keep in the most recent season of the competition. However, she managed to cause controversy when performing for the U.K. version of the show after wearing shoes that read "(expletive) off" during a performance of her Billboard chart topping "We found love."
While the search for new judges on the second season of "X Factor" is going on, auditions for talent are also taking place. The upcoming auditions for the show will take place in San Francisco, Greensboro, N.C., and Providence, R.I., beginning in April.
