Rihanna Says She's 'Bored' With Partying
Rihanna may be ready to put her partying lifestyle behind her.
The 25-year-old Barbadian pop star made headlines for her partying lifestyle last year, but now she insists she is not too fond of it anymore.
"I hate partying. I don't know if it's my heels," the singer said on the British talk show Chatty Man, according to The Huffington Post United Kingdom. "I don't like standing up in my heels for hours. I don't know if it's that, but I've been so bored of it."
While Rihanna questioned if the music in venues caused her to lose interest in partying, she also revealed why fans may still see her attending some soirees.
"I don't know if it's because it's the same music every night-maybe we need some more DJs," she added. "So you'll catch me celebrating every once in awhile, because I work hard."
Last year, Rihanna ended up tweeting a photograph of herself in a hospital after suffering from exhaustion and dehydration.
"She's not one to stay at home at night and relax," Jennifer Peros, a reporter with US Weekly magazine, told ABC News after the incident last year. "She's out partying at all the clubs around the world. So I definitely think she may be burning the candle at both ends here. "
Sources previously spoke to the British publication Closer Magazine about how Rihanna's partying lifestyle had an impact on her health.
"Rihanna thinks she can go wild at parties, then wake up fine the next day. But clearly she can't," sources told Closer last year. "Hopefully the shock of ending up in hospital will be a wake-up call."
It seems Rihanna is ready to adjust her lifestyle but insists that it works for her these days.
"I tell you, I'm a bit of a square recently," she said on Chatty Man. "Don't feel bad for me, I'm good."
