Rihanna Smokes Suspicious 'Cigarette' While in Barbados for Grandma's Funeral

The online community is buzzing with suspicion after paparazzi photographed pop singer Rihanna smoking a "cigarette" highly resembling marijuana while visiting her homeland of Barbados to attend the funeral of her grandmother.

Rihanna, 24, was photographed lounging on the porch of her exclusive west coast villa which reportedly rents for $6,300 per night.

The pop star is seen laughing with friends while smoking a "cigarette" which looks suspiciously similar to a blunt, which is a hollowed out cigar wrapper stuffed with marijuana.

Paparazzi photographed Rihanna smoking a similar-looking "cigarette" in Hawaii in January.

During her visit to Hawaii, Rihanna tweeted a quote from friend and rapper Drake: "Kush rolled, glass full...I prefer the better things!"

Kush is a type of condensed, strong marijuana which is grown in Afghanistan, Pakistan, or India.

Another photograph taken in April shows Rihanna rolling what appears to be a blunt on a bouncer's head while attending the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, Calif.

She then smoked the rolled object and continued to party next to her friend and fellow pop sensation Katy Perry at the music festival.

Rihanna has been in Barbados this past week to attend the funeral of her beloved grandmother who passed away after a long battle with cancer.

Rihanna has evidently been lamenting her grandmother's loss, tweeting earlier this week "#grangranDOLLY? I know you smiling down on me brightly, I could feel it in the sunshine ?#1Love? Forever."

The Daily Mail speculates that Rihanna's evidently enjoyable cigarette and accompaniment by friends are helping her cope with the loss of her loved one.
