Rihanna's Bible Tweets on Forgiveness About Getting Back Together With Chris Brown?
Pop artist Rihanna has recently tweeted Bible-oriented quotes which seek forgiveness. Observers have suggested that theses tweets are references to Rihanna's recent alleged reconciliation with her abusive ex-beau, recording artist Chris Brown.
Rihanna's recent religious-oriented tweets included "temptation isn't sin" and "forgiveness wins."
Another recent tweet told readers: "For if you forgive people their trespasses...your heavenly Father will also forgive you."
Critics contend that Rihanna is using religion to make fans understand why she has possibly chosen to restart her relationship with Brown.
"The couple spent the summer slowly revealing they're in a relationship and now Ri's has turned to religion to make people understand," wrote U.K. tabloid The Mirror.
Rihanna, who has had a tumultuous past relationship with Brown, was recently spotted canoodling with her ex-beau at the launch of his ownership for a Queeby channel at a Beverly Hills mansion on Oct. 20.
A few weeks earlier, Brown and Rihanna were spotted spending time together in New York City, further fueling rekindled relationship rumors.
Brown and Rihanna split in 2009 after Brown viciously beat Rihanna prior to the Grammys, leaving her with cuts and bruises on her face and arms.
Rihanna recently used a forgiving tone when she spoke with Oprah Winfrey about the consequences she and Brown suffered after his Feb. 2009 assault.
"It was a weird, confusing space to be in. Because as angry as I was, as angry and hurt and betrayed, I just felt like he made that mistake because he needed help and who's going to help him?" Rihanna told Oprah in Aug. 2012.
"Nobody's going to say he needs help. Everybody's going to say he's a monster without looking at the source, and I was more concerned about him," she added.
Although some are questioning a budding romance between Brown and Rihanna, there is still the question of Brown's former girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, with whom Brown was spotted leaving a Los Angeles gas station on Oct. 22.
