RIP 'Smokin' Joe: Mike Tyson and Other Celebrities Express Condolences on Twitter
Joe "Smokin" Frazier died last night after battling liver cancer, according to a statement by his agent, and tan outpouring of love for the fighter has flooded Twitter and Facebook today.
The legendary boxer was diagnosed with the disease last month and passed in his Philadelphia home at the age of 67.
Mike Tyson was the latest celebrity to chime in on the death of Frazier and talked about how it is a "sad day" and people should "honor him by celebrating his accomplishments."

Tyson, known for his outlandish and wild remarks, took to Twitter and stated praise for the boxer: "Frazier and Ali were quintessential, the apex of pedigree fighting in which each man would not give an inch until they were dead. Their era was competitive fighting at the highest level."
Then he eloquently tweeted: "As a young fighter it has always been an honor to be compared to Frasier. My family and I are sending our sincerest condolences to the Joe Frazier family."
Other celebrities stuck to the usual condolence statement, and paid their respects.

The boxer’s greatest claim to fame concerned his three legendary fights with Muhammad Ali in the 1970s. Their biggest battle, also their last, was nicknamed the "Thrilla in Manilla."
Frazier beat Ali once, in 1971.
