'Riverdale' Season 1 Episode 8 Spoilers: Archie Finds Himself in Danger in Southside Serpent Territory
The upcoming episode of "Riverdale" season 1 will see Archie (K.J. Apa) and his friends stumbling into danger when they find themselves in Southside Serpent territory.
The synopsis for the new episode, titled "The Outsiders," states that Fred (Luke Perry) suddenly loses his crew just as his company is set to begin construction on a project. Without his crew, no one is there to get things done, which means his company may go down the drain. Archie tries to fix his father's situation by enlisting the help of his friends. However, when one of them is assaulted, they put a plan into action but it leads to them arriving in a shady part of town.
Meanwhile, Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Veronica (Camila Mendes) help Polly (Tiera Skovbye) calm down by planning a baby shower for her. However, Polly is not too sure that it is a good decision, especially considering their situation. Finally, Jughead (Cole Sprouse) is concerned about how his friends will take the news now that his secret is out there.

A teaser trailer for the next episode has also been released. It starts out with Hermione (Marisol Nichols) telling her daughter, Veronica, about the long-running feud between the Cooper family and the Blossom family. Penelope (Nathalie Boltt) asks Alice (Mädchen Amick) why Polly is not living at home with them, and Alice reacts with anger. F.P. (Skeet Ulrich) is worried about Jughead's future, and the gang finds out about F.P.'s association with the Southside Serprents.
The clip also teases a lot of drama and action in store for viewers, with Archie finding himself in a fight and the Coopers getting violent with each other. The parents' characters are getting more fleshed out as the season continues, and a huge number of fans think that it was Betty's parents who killed Jason. However, with the introduction of F.P. as a possible suspect, things are bound to get more interesting.
Fans will have to wait a while, though, as the next episode of "Riverdale" season 1 will not air until Thursday, March 30, at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
