Robert Pattinson, Dakota Fanning Do Brunch in Brooklyn (PHOTOS)
Robert Pattinson was photographed having brunch in New York with actress Dakota Fanning among other friends, on New Year's Eve.
The British actor, 27, and a group of 10 reportedly dined at Juliette restaurant in the trendy Williamsburg, Brooklyn area prior to ringing in the New Year. Fanning, 19, is said to be a close friend of Kristen Stewart, who split up with Pattinson in May 2013.
"[They] came in as a walk-in ... Rob waited at the bar with some of his friends," a source told HollywoodLife.com adding that the group had to wait "a half hour for their table."
Pattinson, who has been in London filming his latest movie "Queen Of The Desert," was dressed casually in a dark shirt, jeans and a black beanie. Fanning was seen sporting dark shades, a red hat and long coat.
"No one in the restaurant really paid any attention to [Rob]," the source said of the Hollywood actor. "They were all laughing [and] had a great time!"
The "Maps To The Stars" actor reportedly feasted on Italian food and a light sandwich as he mingled with the large group.
"He ate a chicken sandwich and gnocchi — he loved the gnocchi," the insider revealed.
Fanning, who starred alongside Pattinson and Stewart in "Twilight," was last seen spending time with Stewart in December at a Chanel runway show in Dallas, Texas. Stewart, who was unveiled as the new face of Chanel, modeled in the show and posed for photos alongside Fanning.
The "Camp X Ray" actress fueled reconciliation rumors in October when she was spotted spending time with Pattinson at his Beverly Hills home. The pair first began dating in 2008 before a cheating scandal tore them apart in 2012 and again in 2013.
They reportedly spent Thanksgiving together however they were apart during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
"They spent the [Thanksgiving] holiday at her place in Los Feliz along with a few of her closest friends. It was very intimate and sweet," a source said.
