Robert Pattinson Films 'Life' in Los Angeles Ahead of Ex Kristen Stewart's Birthday Party (PHOTOS)
Robert Pattinson was recently photographed filming scenes for his forthcoming movie in Los Angeles, fueling speculation that he will attend his ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart's birthday.

The British actor, 27, began filming "Life," a movie which chronicles Magnum photographer Dennis Stock's real life friendship with legendary actor James Dean, in Toronto Canada in recent months. On Monday filming moved to Los Angeles where Stewart will celebrate her 24th birthday on April 9.

"Rob is back in town and he's super psyched to spend some quality time with Kristen," an alleged friend of Pattinson's told HollywoodLife.com.
"He just arrived to film some scenes for the movie 'Life,' which he was working on in Toronto," the insider explained.
Pattinson, who split up with Stewart in May last year, was spotted in character mode while shooting scenes at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood earlier this week. He portrays Stock in the movie, which is set in 1955 and stars Ben Kingsley and Alessandra Mastronardi.
"They haven't actually seen each other yet, but plan on reuniting in the next day or so with all of the dogs in tow," the insider said of Pattinson and Stewart.
"It's been like four months since they've seen each other. He wanted to make sure he was in L.A. for Kristen's birthday," the source added.
Yesterday reports claimed the "Queen Of The Desert" actor was "tentative" about attending Stewart's upcoming birthday bash due to work commitments. It now appears as though he may have rearranged his work schedule to conveniently coincide with Stewart's birthday to ensure he makes an appearance next week.
"Kristen wants to celebrate her upcoming birthday with her close friends in LA, and she wants Rob to join them as well," an alleged friend of Stewart's said.
"Even though she hasn't seen Rob for the longest time, they still talk all the time," the insider revealed. "They text, Skype. They are both pretty much in the same place right now, just focusing on work and staying focused."
The pair, who met on the 2008 set of "Twilight," split last year due to trust issues stemming from the "Clouds Of Sils Maria" star's affair with a married man.
