Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart Split? 'They Were Fighting About Her Cheating'
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's recent split has undoubtedly raised questions about what exactly went wrong and a new report claims the actress' 2012 cheating scandal is to blame.
The "Twilight" star was photographed moving out of Stewart Los Feliz home May 21 shortly after it was revealed the pair had split. Pattinson, 27, has reportedly stayed quiet about his break-up with Stewart, 23, but he recently alluded to issues stemming from her affair with married movie director, Rupert Sanders.
"No one wants to grill Rob on this and he's not sharing the details, but we all know they had a massive fight," a source told Hollywoodlife.com.
"All he's said is that he can't trust her anymore and he never will — seems pretty obvious they were fighting about her cheating," the insider continued.
In July, Stewart was photographed intimately embracing her "Snow White and The Huntsman" director during a secret tryst last year. She later apologized to Pattinson, whom she had dated for four years, but the actor reportedly always had difficulty moving past the scandal.
"Rob always brings up the cheating scandal to Kristen. He hangs it over her head," a source told Us magazine.
"He really put her through the ringer. Ultimately, it was like, 'Either we move past this or we don't.' It wasn't good for either of them," another source explained.
Pattinson, who first began dating Stewart in 2008 after meeting on the set of "Twilight," reportedly celebrated his May 13 birthday without Stewart. A paparazzi photographer recently claimed the actress appeared to be distressed during what he alleged looked like an intense phone with Pattinson on his birthday.
"Kristen was pacing back-and-forth in her friend's apartment, smoking. She looked really upset, talking on the phone for almost an hour— I'm guessing she was talking to Rob," the unnamed photographer told X17 Online. "She was really animated, like she was trying to explain something. She was getting frustrated and seemed very emotional."
