Robert Pattinson Moving to Canada, Focused on Music After Kristen Stewart Split?
Robert Pattinson is reportedly moving to Canada following his rumored split from Kristen Stewart and reports claim the actor is focused on his music career.
The British actor, 27, reportedly ended his four-year relationship with Stewart, 23, shortly after celebrating his May 13th birthday. While sources claim Pattinson and Stewart are still on friendly terms following their split, he is said to be in need of a temporary break from the drama surrounding his love life.
''Rob is renting a house in Bloor West Village in Toronto for July and August," a source told the Daily Star.
''Rob needs time away from showbiz drama and loves having his family around him. They plan to spend their evenings in the garden drinking, listening to music and writing songs," the source continued.
It is still unclear why exactly Pattinson and Stewart split, but critics believe their relationship woes stemmed from the actress' 2012 cheating scandal. In July, Stewart was photographed intimately embracing her married "Snow White and The Huntsman" film director, Rupert Sanders, and although she publicly apologized, their relationship was reportedly never the same.
Pattinson has reportedly always been passionate about music but has remained focused on acting due to the high-profile work opportunities he has received -- particularly his roles in "Harry Potter" and "Twilight." His alleged split from Stewart has reportedly enabled him to rediscover his passion.
''Rob's always had half a mind on his music, but when his film career and relationship with Kristen both took off at the same time, something else had to give," a source told HollywoodLife.com. ''He's really enjoyed picking up his guitar again properly and it has given him something to focus on during the break-up.''
On May 19, Pattinson was photographed moving out of Stewart's Los Feliz home days after reports of a split surfaced. A source claims that it was Stewart who ultimately pushed the actor away.
"Kristen wanted to go straight back to where they'd been before they first split up [in July 2012] and pushed Rob really hard on it," a source told OK! magazine. "She wanted the whole package: the house, the wedding and even the baby. It was all way too much for Rob to handle."
