Robert Pattinson Selling Home Once Shared With Kristen Stewart? Actor Moving On
Robert Pattinson is reportedly selling the Los Angeles mansion that he once shared with Kristen Stewart amid claims suggesting the actor is ready to move on from the actress following their split.
On Sept. 14 the "Twilight" star reportedly listed the $6.75 million Spanish style home as he is eager to sell the property. Pattinson, 27, purchased the luxury Los Feliz estate in 2011 and Stewart, 23, reportedly lived in the home prior to the pair's May split, according to HollywoodLife.com.
The British actor is reportedly now living in a $3.7 million Beverly Hills mansion temporarily, until he finds a more permanent new home. The property, which was once home to singer Britney Spears, features 5-bedrooms; 6-bathrooms; an oak sports bar and a swimming pool and Stewart is said to be "crushed."
"Kristen is crushed that Rob felt it was necessary to move to Beverly Hills. She feels like this was his way of saying, 'I can't be bothered with you anymore.' Los Feliz was their home for years. It has a completely different vibe than Beverly Hills," a source said.
"Rob told Kristen he was moving, but Kristen didn't really think he would go through with it," the source explained. "Of course, she's sad. She's heartbroken. If she could get back together with Rob, she would do it in a heartbeat."
In 2012 the "Camp X Ray" actress admittedly cheated on Pattinson which prompted him to end their four-year relationship almost one year later. The exes reportedly have not spoken since their emotional August reunion as sources claim the actor cut off all contact.
"It was Rob's decision that the two of them not communicate for a while. Rob felt like it was just too difficult for the two of them to move on if they kept in contact," " an alleged friend of Stewart's told HollywoodLife.com.
"They both want to be able to talk one day, but it's still too soon and there are too many raw emotions from both sides involved," the source explained.
Stewart, who began dating the British actor in 2008, was reportedly left devastated after he abruptly ended their relationship however sources insist that there are currently no hard feelings between the pair.
"Rob was in no way nasty about it," the friend said. "He actually thought he was helping Kristen by setting this boundary of no communication — that it would actually speed up the recovery process."
