"I think I am going to take the perspective of those who normally watch at home," she added.

During Roberts' appearance, "DWTS" contestants will perform a dance that represents "the most memorable year of their lives."

The special installment of the competition is sure to reveal emotional backstories from the celebrity contestants. Roberts is one of many guest judges on season 18 of the reality dancing show, such as former "DWTS" pro Julianne Hough and singer Ricky Martin.

The guest judging stint will not be Roberts' first experience related to "DWTS." On her 50th birthday in 2010, the morning talk show host performed the cha-cha with pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy on "GMA."

Meanwhile, excitement surrounding the 18th season "DWTS" got off to an early start even before its March 17 premiere.

The television series fired longtime co-host Brooke Burke Charvet, replacing her with ESPN star Erin Andrews. Then, the cast reveal set Twitter users into a frenzy when names such as "Full House" star Candace Cameron-Bure and "The Wonder Years" star Danica McKellar.

Season 18's cast also includes actor Drew Carey, pop singer Cody Simpson, "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Nene Leakes, former pro ice hockey player James Maslow and long distance swimmer Diana Nyad.

Moreover, professional "DWTS" dancers Peta Murgatroyd, Emma Slater, Cheryl Burke, Tony Dovolani, Karina Smirnoff and many more also returned to the ball room for season 18. Maks Chmerkovsy is also making a return to the show after a brief hiatus.
