Robin Thicke Admits He Hasn't Seen Paula Patton In 4 Months

Robin Thicke is revealing that things may really be over with his estranged wife Paula Patton , who he hasn't seen in four months.

Thicke, the 37-year-old singer, and Patton, the 38-year-old actress, announced their split earlier this year after eight years of marriage and more than 20 years together. The singer is ready to release his seventh studio album next month, and sources from Rap-Up say that the body of work will be named Paula.

He appeared on Hot 97 radio station recently to reveal that the album is not a publicity stunt, since he has spent legitimate time away from the woman he has been romantically involved with since he was 14.

"I try to keep most of that private but … yeah, I haven't seen her in four months," Thicke admitted while promoting his latest album on the radio station. "And you know we're cool and she's the best girl in the world, great mother and still a good friend but you know because we weren't ever together anymore and I still had so much I wanted to apologize to her for and things I wanted to take responsibility for — that's pretty much what the album is about."

Patton spoke up about her feelings for Thicke in the June 2014 issues of Vanity Fair magazine. Despite media reports, Patton insists she will always love Thicke, who is the father of her 3-year-old son Julian Fuego.

"We've known each other since we were teenagers," she revealed to Vanity Fair. "All I can tell you is there's a deep love there- always was, and always will be."

Thicke insists that he wishes is estranged wife well.

"I also want to wish her well and let her know that she's a great person and she deserves to have a good life and that's not all a negative album," he said on Hot 97.
