Rock Opera Music for Christmas

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is coming to the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim on Dec. 23.

Part of its 2004 national tour which began early November, the event will feature performances at 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra was formed in 1996 by Paul O'Neill. He had originally worked with rock bands and wrote albums but sought something with greater emotional impact -- rock operas.

With no limits to the band members, the diversity of cultures, age groups, and music genres including R&B and gospel allow the orchestra to "create great art," said O'Neill.
