'Rocket League,' 'Euro Truck Simulator 2' cross-promotion for upcoming DLCs

Developer Psyonix seems to be on a roll when it comes to cross-promotion, the latest of which involves "Euro Truck Simulator 2" from developer SCS Software.

"Rocket League" players will be able to get a new antenna in the form of a truck. It's called the Euro Truck Simulator Rig Antenna and it's pictured above. >In exchange for the truck antenna, Psyonix will also be dropping a couple of items to "American Truck Simulator." These include the Octane Battle-Car dashboard toy and the official "Rocket League" ball rearview mirror hang. Because SCS Software recently rolled out a physics update to the game, these brand new "Rocket League"-themed accessories will move around as players drive in their trucks.

In addition to a "Euro Truck Simulator 2," Psyonix is also collaborating with Coffee Stain Studios, creator of "Goat Simulator." Coffee Stain Studios previously added a "Rocket League" game mode through "Goat Simulator's" Payday DLC earlier this year. This time around, "Rocket League" players will be receiving two new antennas inspired by the goat simulation game. There's a G2 Robot Antenna and a goat antenna called Goatenna. As with the "Euro Truck Simulator 2" items, the "Goat Simulator" antennas will also be coming with the next patch.

Aside from these, Psyonix also announced a cross-promotion with the open-world survival horror game "Dying Light." The developer will be adding some "Rocket League" items to "Dying Light's" recent expansion, The Following. Meanwhile, developer Techland will also be providing "Dying Light" garage items for "Rocket League." More details are expected to come later.

In addition to these cross-promotion, "Rocket League" will also be getting a new mode. Coming next week, the upcoming mode will feature a cars-meets-basketball theme. The new "Rocket League" basketball mode is called Rocket League Hoops and it will arrive as a free update on Tuesday, April 26.
