'Rocket League' patch 1.05 to be released, 'Find New Match' option added

"Rocket League" fans are in for a treat as its developer Psyonix will be releasing more DLC packs in the coming days. But the good news doesn't stop there. The physics-based vehicle soccer video game will also be receiving an update which will be launched within the next two weeks, as reported by Gaming Bolt

It hasn't been long yet since the game was released in July. But the company confirmed that some tweaks will take place soon and will include few more big features for the game. To keep the fans excited and thrilled, Psyonix divulged the details that will come along with the update through a series of tweets in their official Twitter account.

They hinted that the update, codenamed "Patch 1.05," will be doing some necessary fixes to the game, dealing with nagging issues. Cool new features will also be added like the two new flags. According to Latin Post, one of the flags is in accordance to Torn Banner Studios' "Chivalry: Medieval Warfare." The flags are Agatha Knights' "Mason Order" and Kevin Pereira's "The Attack" flag.

The patch will also introduce a new option called "Find New Match." Through this option, players can conveniently transition from one match to the next in the "Ranked" screen during the end of each match. Aside from that, PC users will also now have the ability to leave out PS4 players from their matchmaking search.

"Patch 1.05" will be presenting as well a new interface for the music player. GameSpot reported that through this new interface, players will be permitted to "rotate through 'Rocket League's' music at will." However, the site says the music will not play while inside the game as it will entail "a much bigger design/impact on the game question with heavy UI implications."

The update has no exact schedule for release yet but Psyonix hints that it will be out "in two weeks or less." A new DLC will then follow, bringing again new vehicles.
