Rocketown Becomes First Christian Label to Launch Digital Catalogues

Rocketown Records partners with Liquid Technologies, becoming the first Christian label to provide digital catalogues through the internet.

“We are excited to add Rocketown’s impressive catalog to Liquid’s rapidly expanding collection of tracks for commercial download,” said Mike Abbattista, Liquid.com’s Vice President of Content and Label Relations.

“The quality and integrity of the music Rocketown brings to this relationship will be a huge benefit to Liquid’s retail partners and to consumers of Christian music.”

The agreement allows Rocketown fans to legally download songs “a la carte” for a small fee. Rocketown and Liquid.com will also partner on special album promotions and previews in the months ahead.

“We determined that it was important for today’s consumer to have immediate legal, user-friendly access to our artists’ music right from our own Web site,” said Angela R. Magill, Rocketown Records Vice President of Business Affairs and General Counsel.

“If someone comes to Rocketownrecords.com to learn more about the company or our artists, they should have the opportunity to buy and own our music immediately—and Liquid.com has made it just that easy.” Magil continued. “Liquid.com has given us the added bonus of making our music available on all of their music partner sites as well.”
