The Rose Parade 2014 takes place on New Year's Day, January 1, 2014 in Pasadena, California and will be the perfect way for thousands to start the New Year. The parade will be watched by millions across the nation and world, and will begin at 8 a.m. PT or 11 a.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The Bowl Parade 2014 will extend for about two hours and cover a five mile stretch and feature dozens of beautiful floral floats, bands, and equines.

The theme of the parade this year will be "Dreams Come True."

The float judges this year will be Cheryl Cecchetto, James Folsom and Rene van Rems.
In total, 46 floral masterpieces have been entered in the parade, and among those there will be 24 chosen for various awards based on creative design, floral craftsmanship, artistic merit, computerized animation, thematic interpretation, floral and color presentation and dramatic impact, according to organizers.
The winning floats will be announced by Tournament of Roses President Scott Jenkins on New Year's Day.
Richard De Jesu, chair of the Tournament's Judging Committee, has said: "Rose Parade floats are designed, built and decorated by teams who put heart and soul into each unique presentation.
"Our esteemed panel of judges looks at each float through a creative lens and identifies those elements that are most entertaining to viewers. All three judges bring a diverse set of skills that complement each other's knowledge in their profession."
It has also been announced that the Grand Marshal for the 2014 Tournament of Roses will be Vin Scully, who has been the voice of the Los Angeles Dodgers for 64 years.
Scully is a Hall of Fame broadcaster, who became the youngest person to broadcast announce a World Series game at the age of 25.
The parade route will kick things off and start at Green Street and Orange Grove Boulevard in Pasadena. The parade will turn east onto Colorado Boulevard.
Later in the route, the parade will turn north onto Sierra Madre Boulevard, before finishing at Villa Street.
Around one million spectators are expected to see the Rose parade this year, and roads in the area will be closed off as hundreds of thousands of spectators are expected to line up along the streets to get a glimpse of the parade.
