Roster of Windows 10 Smartphones Set to Include Acer, VAIO

The latest Windows 10 flagship smartphones from Microsoft, the Lumia 950 and 950 XL, have already been released and many are impressed with the incorporation of the new mobile operating system. But if there are people that are not impressed with the mobile unit the company has released, they don't need to worry because there are several other units coming that will also carry Windows 10.

According to Techno Buffalo, a number of other companies unveiled, during a Microsoft Japan event, some new handsets that run the new mobile operating system. It was Microsoft Japan president Takuya Hirano who announced the names of the companies.

One of those mentioned was Acer, who has promoted the Liquid Jade Primo. The unit runs with Windows Mobile 10 and was revealed earlier this year. Featuring a plastic design in black or white, there's still no exact date as to when it will be launched. Latin Post reported that Acer also showed off the Liquid M330. It features a 4.5-inch 480 x 854 LCD display and has an eight-megapixel camera. It's expected to be released this December.

VAIO also presented a prototype and revealed that a Windows Mobile 10 handset is currently in progress. It said that they are working on a handset that is aimed at the business sector and will most likely arrive in early 2016.

Not so famous smartphone manufacturers also stole the limelight during the event. A device known as the Digginos Mobile DG-W10 was revealed by Thirdwave and it features a 5-inch display, 16GB of storage and of course, Windows 10 software. NuAns also introduced the NuAns NEO, which is a wood-trimmed designed handset that comes in different colors.

Other names include Freetel, which boasted the Katana 02, and Mouse Computer, which is expected to add in the new operating system to the mid-tier MADOSMA Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone.
