Russell Brand Dating Alessandra Balazs Despite 15-Year Age Gap?

Russell Brand has been romantically linked to hotel heiress, Alessandra Balazs, more than one year after his divorce from Katy Perry.

The British comedian, 38, was reportedly first spotted publicly with Balazs in April during a lunch date in Venice, California and a source claims the pair is in a relationship. Balazs is the 23-year-old daughter of Entrepreneur Andre Balazs, 56, who is dating comedian Chelsea Handler, 38.

"Russell and Alessandra have been quietly dating for months now and [have] even gone on holidays together, and, he took her to London with him," a source told Mail Online UK.

"They really are so cute together - I wish she wasn't so camera shy. It is quite funny that a father and daughter are dating two comedians the same age," the source said.

Brand, who divorced Perry, 28, after 14 months of marriage, recently admitted that he is open to getting married in the future. The pair has both moved on since, with Perry now romantically linked to singer John Mayer.

"I tried it and I loved it," Brand told Esquire magazine about marriage. "I really think [Katy's] a lovely beautiful person. It's just hard, isn't it? She's got a lot of options, I've got a lot of options, so you've got to really, really want it."

The "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" star cited "irreconcilable differences" in his divorce filing and he explained that reassessing priorities became an issue in their marriage.

"Some of it's the fame, but I think getting married is … you've got a whole other person that you've got to make as important as you!" he explained.

Despite their public split, the exes are said to be on good terms with a source confirming they remain in contact and are "civil" to each other.

"They were the best of friends when they were together, and despite the fact they are no longer married they've managed to stay civil to one another," a source previously told RadarOnline.com.
