Russell Wilson wants to change the world with his new clothing collection, Good Man Brand.

"We're going to change a culture through fashion," the 27-year-old Seattle Seahawks quarterback said in a Q&A to promote his new line, according to GQ magazine.

He may be a football player, but Wilson reverted to the game of basketball when describing the actual clothes featured in the collection.

"I think about a great jump shooter, a guy who can shoot from way outside. And then the guy who can hit easy lay-ups," he said. "So when it comes to clothes, I had the great suits and I had the shorts and T-shirts. But I wanted that mid-range game that I could dress up and down."

The QB and philanthropist said the clothes were for "a guy who's trying to take out a girl that's way out of his league."

"This is not a celebrity-driven brand," he continued. "I wanted to make unbelievable clothes. That was a no-brainer. That's the most important thing."

While clothing options start at $76 and sneakers begin at $300, $3 from every purchase is expected to go to his Why Not You Foundation. The foundation focuses on making changes in the lives of youth who may be affected by cancer or domestic violence.

"Visions do come true ... @GQ @GoodManBrand helping Inner City Kids Education & Kids at Risk! Be Good. #LeadInspireLive," Wilson wrote when launching his brand. "Let's make a difference 4 Inner City Kids Education and Those at Risk! Let's change the world!"

On the official Good Man Brand website, a message states: "The measure of our brand is more than the fashion, style and comfort we create. Men of action, we tally the score in the good work we do, and what we inspire in others."
