Ryan Gosling '90s Church Talent Show Act Sweeps Internet (VIDEO)
A never-before-seen video of Ryan Gosling has caused a stir online Tuesday as the then 11-year-old actor sings and dances on stage.
As part of a talent show at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Cornwall, Ontario nearly 20 years ago, Gosling donned "Hammer" pants while singing "When A Man Loves A Woman."
The video performance also includes Gosling and his sister, Mandi, dancing and performing C + C Music Factory's "Gonna Make You Sweat."
The young star-to-be went on to join Disney's "Mickey Mouse Club" just two years later.
Today, Gosling remains one of today's hottest actors. The 31-year-old is best known for his role alongside Rachel McAdams in "The Notebook," and more recently, "The Ides of March," for which he received two Golden Globe nominations.
With over 100,000 views on YouTube after just one day, several fans commented on young Gosling's talent show try-out.
"I am TOTALLY showing this video during my Ryan Gosling presentation," wrote TheNewYork.
Also, Twitter users sounded off about the viral video.
"Just when we thought Ryan Gosling couldn't get any cute[r], THIS HAPPENS," wrote refinery29.
Lara wrote, "Day: Made," while Huffington Post wrote, "Based on this video, Ryan Gosling always knew he had it going on."
"Ides of March is good," wrote Mario, who continued to list Gosling's movies before providing a link to the YouTube video. "So is Drive, and Crazy, Stupid, Love. But here's the REAL reason to be jealous of Ryan Gosling."
Olivia wrote, "11-year-old #RyanGosling, you make Hammer pants look good."
"Baby Ryan Gosling in Hammer pants," wrote Caitlin. "Yeah, it's real. And it's awesome."
With legions of fans, Gosling has several internet memes named after him that promote feminists ideas and start with the caption, "Hey girl." The meme started on a Tumblr account first featured on Jezebel.
