Ryan Lochte and 'Saturday Night Live' Spoof: They Got Me 'Go-od' (VIDEO)
Ryan Lochte has stated that he is looking forward to an invitation on "Saturday Night Live" following a spoof of the swimmer that made him appear dimwitted.
Ryan Lochte isn't offended that "Saturday Night Live" has painted him out to look foolish. Instead, the Olympic Gold medalist has stated that he hopes the publicity he garnered from the segment will lead to a personal invitation on the show.
Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane portrayed the 5-time Olympic gold medalist as waterlogged loon during the Weekend Update.
"I was America in ... Olympics," MacFarlane recited as one of his opening lines.
The Lochte impersonator was then asked a series of questions about the upcoming fall shows, his favorite apparently being the monkey hospital or rather "Animal Practice."
"It's not fair that they give all of the best lines to the monkey," MacFarlane joked as he threw two fingers up in the air. "I give it three swims."
MacFarlane also confused the commercials in between the shows as "mini shows." Lochte admitted that the review was pretty heavily aimed at him.
"Well I gotta admit that was a pretty harsh one, but it's cool to have Seth parody me," he said to Celebuzz.
According to Locthe, SNL has got it all wrong when it comes to his personality, although he's willing to laugh off the skit as joke.
"I think he pegged me wrong, but when I heard he did a skit I knew I was in for it!" he said. "It's all in fun and of course if I'm talked about on SNL I know they are gonna get me 'Go-od.'"
"Go-od," because apparently MacFarlane didn't think that the swimmer would get that the new Mathew Perry show was titled "Go On" instead of "Goon." When corrected, MacFarlane replies by saying, "Oh ok, either way it looks really 'go-od.'"
