Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively News: Couple Expecting Second Baby
Blessings keep on pouring in for Ryan Reynolds as, apart from the resurgence of his career, thanks to his blockbuster movie "Deadpool," his wife Blake Lively, is heavy with their second child.
According to sources as reported by People magazine, both Reynolds and Lively are thrilled with the news as both have been vocal about their desire of having a big, happy family. Another source has told People that Lively may officially reveal her pregnancy at the upcoming Met Gala event on May 2.
Rumors claiming that Lively is pregnant the second time around first surfaced when she was spotted filming her scenes for the upcoming movie, "The Shallows, where she was seen trying to keep her tummy from being seen by wearing a robe and placing a surfboard in front of it to block a direct view of it.
"We'd love to have a big family. We both come from big families—my parents did four, Blake's did five. A lot of people say it's crazy, but we'll only know when we're there, you know? We'll walk through that fire pretty happily, I think," said Reynolds back then in 2013 when he was interviewed by Details magazine as reported by ABC news.
Now that Lively is pregnant, not only their 16-month old baby James will have a sibling; Reynolds and Lively are slowly building their dream of having a big and happy family. It is Interesting to note that, as their family continues to grow, the respective careers of Lively and Reynolds are also blessed. During CinemaCon event this week, Lively's upcoming shark horror film "The Shallows" was teased. Later in the week, Reynold's "Deadpool" sequel was officially announced in the same event.
As to what the gender of their new baby would be, one can only expect that Reynolds and Lively will give it the utmost love and care. In a separate article of People magazine back then, Reynolds revealed how thrilled he was when his daughter was born as he grew up with three brothers.
"I would love to have a little boy at some point, but I would not be an unhappy man if I had a six-person soccer team of girls," he said in a jest.
