Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively Affectionate at 2014 Met Gala: Hollywood Couples Out in Full Force (PHOTOS)

The couple wed during a low-profile ceremony in 2012 after a year of dating. Known as one of fashion's biggest nights, Lively and Reynolds both donned Gucci as they posed for a couple of affectionate photos on the red carpet. Lively paired her champagne-colored and sequined gown with big curls while Reynolds looked perfectly coiffed in a velvet black tux with a bow tie.
Although the married actors stole much of the spotlight on Monday, Lively and Reynolds were joined at the 2014 Met Gala by a slew of other Hollywood couples, including music superstars Jay Z and Beyonce. The "Drunk In Love" singer wore a sheer black Givenchy gown paired with a birdcage headpiece and burgundy lipstick, while her rapper husband opted for a white tux.

In an adorable display of humor, Jay-Z pretended to propose to Beyonce after she had dropped a ring while walking the red carpet. The couple has been married for five years and shares one child.
Meanwhile, other couples included Kim Kardashian and Kanye West; Johnny Depp and his new fiancée, actress Amber Heard, and British superstars Victoria and David Beckham. John Legend and his model wife Chrissie Teigen also graced the red carpet at the 2014 Met Gala, and although they are not a couple, brother and sister duo Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal also posed for photos at the event.
Other couples not pictured here included Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren, Gisele Bundchen and husband Tom Brady, and Reese Witherspoon with her husband Jim Toth, among others. Sean Penn and Charlize Theron, who recently began dating, also attended the Gala together.
