Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough Marrying Soon? Seacrest Reveals Plans

Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough may be marrying sooner rather than later. Seacrest has opened up about his plan to propose to his girlfriend and gushed about how much he loved her during a recent TV appearance.

"She's so beautiful … stunning. She is phenomenal. She's the best part of every day," Seacrest told Chelsea Handler during a recent appearance on her show "Chelsea Lately."

Handler then went for the kill and asked Seacrest when he planned on proposing to actress Hough.

"She'll be the first one to know," he coolly responded.

The couple has been together for going on three years now, which is quite a feat given their incredibly busy schedules and the fact that Hough initially thought Seacrest was homosexual.

"He totally wasn't my type," she told TMZ. "I thought he was gay. After a few years, he was persistent so I went out with him on a date and I realized how much I liked him," Hough added.

One of the first public dates they went on was to the Italian Riviera. They were seen aboard a yacht headed for Sardinia and Monte Carlo, as well as just enjoying their time together in the country.

Homosexual rumors have still plagued Seacrest, though, and he addressed those on "Chelsea Lately."

"When are you getting married?" Seacrest asked Handler.

"I'm not going to get married, Ryan. I'm not interested in that. I don't have to prove to people that I'm straight," Handler quipped, sparking laughs from the audience and Seacrest.

It's clear that Seacrest and Hough's relationship is progressing, though. He recently sold his bachelor pad and purchased a new home with Hough. A Valentine's Day proposal may be out of the question, though, since the couple will be separated on the romantic holiday.

"Her movie ('Safe Haven') launches that day," Seacrest told Kelly Ripa last month. "She'll be spending it with Josh Duhamel that day."

Given that Seacrest so persistently asked for a date with Hough, it's possible a proposal could come at any time.
