Ryder Cup 2012 Live Stream: Watch Online Coverage Day 3 Singles (Schedule, Match Ups, Results)

The United States go into the final day of the Ryder Cup 2012 with a commanding lead. With the score at 10-6 Europe will need to do something they've never done before and turnover a four point deficit on the final day. All the action from day 3 can be watched online through live stream (details below).

Day 2 saw the United States further extend the lead they built on day 1. The U.S. won five of the eight points on offer on Saturday, and had it not been for a late European rally then the match could have been almost entirely out of Europe's reach by now.

As it stands Europe have given themselves an outside chance at turning over the United States' lead, after winning the final two matches at the end of the day to claw back what was a six point lead at one point for the U.S.

The United States were again inspired at Medinah on day 2 by the seemingly unbeatable pairing of Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley. In the morning session the plan for the U.S. was to start strongly and hopefully extend the lead they had worked so well to gain on Friday. And that's exactly what happened; the United States won three of the four points on offer in the morning session's Foursomes.

At one point it looked like they would repeat that feat in the afternoon session's fourballs but a late and dramatic resurgence by Europe saw them claim two late points to give them a fighting chance moving into the final day.

Europe have Luke Donald and Sergio Garcia, as well as Rory McIlroy and Ian Poulter to thank for being just four points behind. Ian Poulter in particular has been in phenomenal form despite his teammates falling apart around him; he has helped Europe win three of their six points so far.

McIlroy and Poulter were 2 down with just 6 holes to play, and it looked like the United States were unstoppable. But they amazingly managed to turn things around and won their match.

However, Europe are up against the ropes and it would take a brave person to bet on them now going on to retain the Ryder Cup trophy. If they did manage to do so in Sunday's singles they would be putting on one of the most dramatic turn-arounds in Ryder Cup history.
