He recently unveiled the new device at Samsung's "Unpacked" Episode 2 event that took place in Berlin last week.

The new phablet will be available starting Sept. 25. Spec and features on the device include improved LTE connectivity, a 2.3GHz quad-core processor, a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, Android 4.3, JellyBean, a 13-megapixel rear camera, LED Flash, a 2-megapixel front shooter, dual camera capabilities, and a redesigned version of the S Pen.

The Galaxy Note 3 comes with 3GB RAM. Previous rumors had conflicted on how much RAM it would come with. The most recent stating Samsung was going to give it 2.5GB. It also packs either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage depending on which model a user purchases. The battery has been enhanced to a 3,200 mAh.

Samsung also made good on the rumors that it would redesign the device's exterior. It still features a plastic backing, but its appearance has been altered to make it look like leather or some other kind of material. It even comes with stitching on the edges to give it a different feel. Like the Galaxy S4, the Note 3 comes with the metal along the edges instead of the rounded plastic look found on the Note 2 and Galaxy S3. It closely resembles the Galaxy S4 in the same way the Note 3 shares looks with its predecessor.
