Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Release Date In US Oct. 1-10 On AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint; Specs and Prices
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release dates in the United States are expected to begin to drop soon with the device first becoming available from Oct. 1 and then becoming available across all the major networks within a week or so of that time.
The device is one of the most eagerly anticipated of the year, and comes just weeks after Apple unveiled its latest generation iPhones, the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C. Samsung will be hoping to counter the surge in iPhone sales with its new Note 3 release, with thousands expected to flock to get the large screen smartphone.
Here are some details about the Note 3's release date, price and specs.
Release Date
According to the latest reports, almost all the major U.S. telecom networks will launch the Note 3 during the first week of October.
AT&T will have the handset on Oct. 1 while T-Mobile will launch it on Oct. 2.
T-Mobile has already started taking preorders on Wednesday for the new Samsung device. Sprint will have the device on Oct. 4 and Verizon will reportedly ship the smartphone by Oct. 10.
Prices
T-Mobile is set to put Galaxy Note 3 up for sale for $199 upfront, with the condition of 24 monthly payments of $21 with T-Mobile's Simple Choice plan.
AT&T and Verizon both will be offering the device at $299 with a two year contract or for $725 if the smartphone is purchased outright without a contract.
Meanwhile, Sprint will sell the device for $349.
Specs
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is confirmed to come with a microUSB 3.0 port, which will allow for faster charging and faster data transfers.
The device, revealed on Sept. 4, is expected to be slim and light, with 5.7in screen, HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 and AMOLED display with 16 M colors.
The Note 3 is also rumored to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 13 MP camera, Android 4.3, 3 GB RAM, S pen and more.
