Is Samsung about to release the latest Galaxy Note this year?
After the Korean company launched the Galaxy Note 4, the much-lauded device gained a lot of fans and sparked rumors about the next Galaxy Note phablet. According to reports, there is a possibility that the Galaxy Note 5 could be released sometime during fall 2015.
As Samsung has a history of releasing a new Galaxy Note smartphone just before IFA every year in Berlin, PCAdvisor predicts a launch date of September 3, 2015 for the device.

Speculations about the device's specs have come up during the past months. Gizbot claims that the device will come with an octa core Snapdragon 810 processor paired with 4GB RAM. Meanwhile, GSMarena is reporting rumors that suggest that the Galaxy Note 5 may be powered by an Exynos 7420 chipset, which would have four Cortex-A57 cores and four Cortex-A53. The phone is expected to run on the Android Lollipop, while some speculate that it could run on Android's upcoming OS, known for now as Android M.
There are also a lot of rumors about storage options, suggesting a range from 16GB up to 128GB internal storage. PCAdvisor speculates that the device would come with 32GB storage, but can be expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card.
The smartphone is rumored to come with a 5.9-inch 4K AMOLED display that would equate to a resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and a whopping pixel density of 743 pixels per inch.
Valuewalk claims that the Galaxy Note 5 could come equipped with a 21MP rear facing camera and a 6MP front facing shooter.
The Galaxy Note 5 is said to cost around $900 off contract when it launches.
