During the past few years, Samsung has waited for the IFA event in Berlin before announcing its flagship Galaxy Note smartphone for the year. However, as most rumors are indicating recently, the Korean based manufacturer will launch its latest Android phablet this month in an Unpacked event.
And while the supposed announcement date is still on Aug. 12, there is a new report circulating that will definitely pique everyone's interest about the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
According to a report by GearBurn, it was DroidLife which leaked the initial live images of the device. However, Evan Blass of @evleaks cannot be outdone, and he has just leaked most, if not all of the important details of the device.

In a tweet, the trusted leaker stated that Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will feature a 5.66-inch display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, 4GB of RAM, an Exynos 7420 SoC, an option for a 128GB internal memory, Android 5.1.1 but there will be no microSD card slot.
In addition, Blass also posted some of the alleged official renders of the Galaxy Note 5, which, if seen from a distance, resembles the Galaxy S6 very much. Also sharing the spotlight is the alleged Galaxy S6 Edge+ that looks just like the Galaxy S6 Edge that was launched earlier this year.
In spite the stunning design of the Galaxy Note 5 based on the leaked press renders, some reports said that it would be better for Samsung fans to hold out for another six months or so, and just wait for the Galaxy S7.
Rumors claim that the next-generation Galaxy S7 will feature Samsung's 1 micrometer 16MP CMOS image sensor, which the Korean brand claims as the first of its kind in the world, as mentioned by a YIBADA report. .
