Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Rumored to Launch in July, To Come with Android N?

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 was deemed as one of the best smartphones in 2015. With that being said, many are looking forward already to meeting its successor which is said to be dubbed as the Galaxy Note 6. Those who are waiting for it may be in luck as rumors say that it will be out earlier than expected. According to Phone Arena, a Korean business publication website has reported that the tech giant is planning to launch the Galaxy Note 6 by mid-July, specifically sometime around the third week.

It will come as a surprise as many expected the Galaxy Note 6 to be introduced at the same time around that the Galaxy Note 5 was launched which was in August. Aside from that, the device, which is allegedly codenamed as Grace, is said to be pre-installed out of the box with the latest Google operating system, the Android N. This basically suggests that Google will already have the final version of the OS by July. It's not entirely impossible though as the company had already released an Android N Developer Preview earlier this month.

None of the information delivered are confirmed by Samsung though so it's best to take reports with a pinch of salt. The specs and features of the Galaxy Note 6 have not been unveiled also but the rumor mill is packed with it. According to Yibada, the upcoming device is said to feature a 5.8-inch Quad HD display. It is rumored to be packed with either the Snapdragon 820 or the Exynos 8890, which is the processor of both the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

There are also some reports claiming that the device will be equipped with 6 GB of RAM, storage options of 64 GB and 128 GB, S-Pen, and 12-megapixel rear camera just like the one found on the Galaxy S7. If the July release date is true, it's expected that additional information will surface soon.
