Samsung Galaxy S2 Now Available Without a Contract at Walmart
Customers can now take advantage of a spectacular deal as the Samsung Galaxy S2 is now available at Walmart without a contract.
The retailer in conjunction with T-Mobile is offering the wildly popular smartphone for $299 with no-agreement and no data plan. This means customers can pay as low as $30 per month to have the device run on the network.
"Today, T-Mobile and Walmart announced a national retail exclusive of the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 as a no annual contract kitted option, providing a premium smartphone experience at a discounted price for no annual contract customers," read the press release.
The Samsung Galaxy S2 normally sells for $550 on T-Mobile without a contract.
The carrier's version of the Galaxy S2 features impressive specs including a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4.5-inch WVGA Super AMOLED Plus display, 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facer, 3.5mm headphone jack, microUSB port, Bluetooth 3.0, and an 1850mAh battery.
This also means that the Galaxy S2 is now part of T-Mobile's lineup of no annual contract devices that are sold at Walmart retail locations.
The smartphone can also be purchased through Walmart's Family Mobile service which is a monthly, no annual contract wireless plan powered by T-Mobile's nationwide network.
This plan normally runs customers $45 per month for text and web on the first line and $35 for an additional line. It also provides them with unlimited access to internet surfing and data and social media for all the lines on the account. The base plan includes the first 250MB per month and it works on 3G speeds.
All of these plans can be found at any Walmart retail location in the U.S.
