Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.1.2, JellyBean Update Pre-Release Screenshots Leaked

The Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.1.2, JellyBean update will be released in the near future and screenshots of the firmware surfaced on the internet this morning.

The software is currently undergoing testing for the Galaxy S3 and is said to be stable and almost ready.

The official roll out of JellyBean to the Galaxy S3 is expected to happen in the next few weeks and it will bring the Multi-view feature that's currently available on the Galaxy Note 2 to the S3 smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.1.1, JellyBean started rolling out for T-Mobile users last week.

The upgrade is now available for the SGH-T999 Galaxy S3 model and T-Mobile users can access it through Samsung KIES or OTA over-the-air.

The update brings improvements to the software including Google Now, and Project Butter that improves the frame rate and performance of the handset, making visuals and transitions much smoother.

AT&T and Verizon users are expected to receive the update in the next two weeks and Sprint users were the first to get it on the first of this month.

Samsung also recently began rolling out the Android 4.1.1 firmware update in India. However, users have been reporting that they did not receive the notification to upgrade.

An Angry Birds Space-themed case for the Samsung Galaxy S3 has sldo been released.

It is called the Laser Birdcase and it is designed specifically for the Galaxy S3.

It protects the back and the sides of the phone from accidental bumps, drops and scrapes by covering those vulnerable areas with a tough plastic shell.

The case is available on gear4 in many different colors.

It features cutouts for ports and features on the smartphone including the camera, flash, volume, and charging ports. The snap on design also makes it easy to pull it off and put it on.

It comes with a special coating on the inside that doesn't scratch the surface of the smartphone's backing.
