Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.1, JellyBean Update With Premium Suite Rolls Out in UK
The Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.1.2, JellyBean update with Premium Suite began rolling out in the U.K. earlier this week.
The firmware is now available for unlocked models of the smartphone in the U.K. and can be accessed using KIES or Over-The-Air.
New features on the update include Multi-View which allows the user to let two apps share the device's screen for better multitasking. There have also been improvements made to the camera such as easier sharing, low-light mode, best face mode, along with the panorama feature being expanded to 360 degrees.

Page buddy for homescreen, and Facebook for the lockscreen are also available with the update.
Galaxy S3 owners in Poland and Korea also have already begun to receive the JellyBean 4.1.2 update with Premium Suite on their smartphones.
The first reports of the Android 4.1, JellyBean update rolling out for Verizon customers started last week. The carrier confirmed the news on its website Dec. 14.
The exact statement said that the JellyBean update for Verizon S3 users would begin rolling out on Dec. 14 and that all users will not have access to the update right away.
The carrier plans on releasing the software in phases and users that wish to download it manually can do so from the Settings menu within a week.
The Android 4.1, JellyBean update is also now available on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.
It was pushed out by Samsung this week and is currently available via Samsung KIES software and OTA (over-the-air).
The update is 441MB in size and is available only in Germany for now. The firmware update is expected to hit the rest of Europe in the near future.
Android 4.1, JellyBean is also expected to hit the Samsung Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note sometime in January, according to recent reports.
Samsung is in the last phases of testing the software and plans on rolling it out at the beginning of next year.
