Samsung Galaxy S3 Release Event Teaser Launched (VIDEO)
Samsung released a video teaser for its upcoming Mobile Unpacked 2012 event where the electronics company is expected to unveil the Samsung Galaxy S3.
Samsung launched both a short version that runs around 16 seconds and a long version that is one minute, 16 seconds long.
The teaser video reveals very little about the product.
Through the video Samsung informs the public that the next Galaxy will be able to fit perfectly in a consumer's hand and that the technology used on the device will help customer's stand out from the rest while showing a herd of sheep.
Samsung is clearly aiming at Apple attempting to steal some of its thunder with the release of this device that will most likely go head-to-head with the next generation iPhone.
The Korean electronics giant sent out an invite to the event last week called "Come and meet the next Galaxy," where the company is expected to unveil the Galaxy S3 device.
This event, now being called Mobile Unpacked in the new ad, is set to take place on May 5 in London, England.
Samsung is also rumored to be unveiling the next-generation Galaxy Tab at the event as well.
The company recently stated that the Galaxy S3 launch and unveiling will take place close together. This means Galaxy fans should be able to get their hands on the smartphone sometime next month.
Rumored specifications for the Galaxy S3 include a 4.6-inch display at 720 x 1184 without on-screen buttons or 720 x 1280 resolution including the on-screen buttons with 320 DPI, a quad-core 1.4GHZ processor running Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich smoothly, 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera, 16GB of internal storage and a microSD slot.
