Samsung Galaxy S3 Rumors: New Design to Feature One Bezel

A rumor recently surfaced stating that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 could feature a design with only one bezel.

This report originated from MK News who said that a device known as the "Galaxy B," will have no bezel on three sides of the display with just one small bezel at the top for the earpiece and camera.

Some are speculating that this "Galaxy B" device is actually the Samsung Galaxy S3.

The report also states that Samsung hopes to launch this device in the second or third quarter of 2012.

Samsung is expected to unveil the follow up device to last year's iPhone killing Samsung Galaxy S2 sometime around the summer.

The Samsung Galaxy S3's debut and availability will be much closer together than the S2's were, according to a recent announcement made by the company. Analysts originally thought Samsung would unleash the S3 at this year's MWC, however that was never the electronics giant's intention.

With the hype for the device building up, rumors have spread over specs and features to be included on the smartphone.

Here is a round-up of some of the more popular rumors making their rounds in the tech world.

For starters, the Samsung Galaxy S3 could be one of the first handsets to introduce a 3D screen. The rumor states that Samsung may be equipping the device to view video in 3D.

The second rumor which will most likely prove to be true is that the Galaxy S3 will feature Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich. The Galaxy S2 is scheduled to be updated to the new software in the coming weeks so there is a good chance the S3 will launch with it pre-installed.

Samsung fans can expect the device to be unveiled sometime around summer 2012.
