Samsung Galaxy S3 Wireless Charging Kit Delayed Until Sept.
Samsung announced its plans to release some new accessories for the Galaxy S3 shortly after the device debuted last week. The plans included a wireless charging kit expected to launch around the same time as the handset.
The smartphone will drop on May 29 in Europe, but now SlashGear is reporting that Samsung has delayed the release of the wireless charging kit until September.
"Samsung's Wireless Charging Kit for the Samsung Galaxy S3 won't be available until September 2012, nearly four months after the quad-core smartphone goes on sale," said SlashGear.

"The staggered release, confirmed to SlashGear by UK retailer MobileFun, hasn't been explained by Samsung though [that] will nonetheless come as a disappointment to those hoping to cut the cord with their new HD Super AMOLED toy," the site continued.
Samsung was originally expected to release the wireless charging kit at the end of this month along with other accessories.
The new accessories include a flip cover, battery-charging stand, spare battery, car dock, metallic docking stand and an HDMI AllShare adapter for the company's cloud software.
The company has been promoting its AllShare wireless service to get customers to push their music out to external devices with an AllShare Cast Dongle.
Samsung will also release the MP3 Player known as the S Pebble that is likely to function with the Galaxy S3 and allow users to have more wireless control of their music from their smartphone.
The Samsung Wireless Charging kit will allow customers to charge their phones with a conductive coil built into custom casing that comes with the accessory.
In order to use the kit, users will have to swap the back cover with the new charging back.
Samsung finally unveiled the long awaited Galaxy S3 smartphone at the company's "Mobile Unpacked" event that took place in London, England last week.
