Samsung Galaxy S4 Available Free at Best Buy

Those looking for a great deal on the Samsung Galaxy S4 can purchase one for free with a new two-year contract at Best Buy.

The 16GB model is now available with no cost up front. The retailer normally carries the white and black versions and also released its own exclusive Artic Blue model, which is also available with the deal.

This basically saves customers the normal $199 on contract fee found on carriers such as AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile. Those looking for an unsubsidized model would be the only people this deal would not apply to.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.3, JellyBean update began rolling out for T-Mobile users this week.

The update will bring the device up to date by giving it the latest form of JellyBean and will also make it compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch. This update should be the same as the version that rolled out for other carriers such as Sprint, Verizon and AT&T.

It brings changes to the device including a Samsung Knox security update, enhanced multi-window mode, improved camera features, bug fixes and general performance enhancements.

The update weighs in at 781MB, which means that it should be downloaded on a Wi-Fi network to ensure a successful installation. The Galaxy S4 should receive a notification, but those that don't could go to "About Device" in the "Settings" menu and check for a software update.

Users will also be able to move apps to the SD card and will have new screen modes such as Adapt Display and Professional Photo. TRIM support will be added to improve performance along with Galaxy Gear support, Driving Mode, voice commands and Samsung KNOX compatibility.

Despite other carriers having issues with the software's rollout, T-Mobile users seemed to experience no issues with it. Many of them began rushing out the Android 4.3 update recently in order to make them compatible with the Galaxy Gear.
