Samsung Galaxy S4 Release Date Set for April With March Unveiling
The Samsung Galaxy S4 release date is expected to be in April and the device will be unveiled in March.
The device will be introduced to the public at a March "Unpacked" event in the U.S., according to a Korean newspaper.
The paper's source also revealed some new information about the Galaxy S4, stating that it will be released in both black and white and feature wireless charging capabilities. Samsung will sell a wireless charging kit for the device once it is released later this year.
DDaily also reported last week that the Galaxy S4 will support wireless charging. The device will receive its initial charge through the back cover when it is placed on a charging dock that will be sold separately.
Other rumored specifications for the Galaxy S4 include a 5-inch FHD sAMOLED 1980 x 1080 Flexible Display, 4G LTE connectivity , and a 13-megapixel camera, ,
It is arguably the most anticipated smartphone of 2013 and will go up against the next-generation iPhone and BlackBerry Z10 OS, which will be released by the end of this month by RIM.
RIM has built up a decent amount of hype for its new operating system BlackBerry 10 that will debut at the end of this month. Meanwhile, Apple is rumored to be releasing a cheaper version of the iPhone in the next few months in order to meet the demand for lower-end smartphones in areas such as China and India.
The Galaxy S4 is also rumored to run Samsung's new Tizen OS.

The device's appearance revealed some of its specifications, including a 1.8GHz processor and Android 4.2.1, JellyBean out of the box.
