Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom to Set New Standard for Camera Phone
Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy S4 Zoom which is a new iteration of the company's camera phones of the past.
This device will feature a 16-megapixel camera along with some extremely impressive specifications, according to a report from SamMobile.
The Galaxy S4 Zoom will come with a 4.3-inch qHD SAMOLED display, 8GB of storage, microSD slot, Bluetooth 4.0, and will run Android 4.1, JellyBean. The device is also rumored to feature either a dual-core or quad-core processor, however, the choice has not been made at this time, according to the report.

Samsung hopes to appeal to those who love photography with this new device. The company aimed to create an efficient camera that can be used as a phone. It will also allow users to carry one device instead of two.
The Galaxy S4 Zoom appears to fuse Samsung's Galaxy Camera with the company's flagship smartphone the Galaxy S4. This Zoom device will feature a smaller screen than the Galaxy S4, but will come with a more powerful point and shooter as the smartphone only has a 13-megapixel camera.
The Galaxy Camera was released towards the end of last year and is now available on both AT&T and Verizon.
Specs on that device include 4.8-inch HD Super Clear LCD Screen. It also boasts a 21x optical zoom lens and a super-bright 16-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor for shooting high-quality images close up and in low light conditions. It is powered by a quad-core 1GHz processor and runs Android 4.1, JellyBean software out of the box.
The Galaxy Camera also has the ability to send still images taken to other Samsung and Android devices instantaneously, including the Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy Note from 200 feet away with the Share Shot feature.
This new Galaxy S4 Zoom should also include this feature along with some interesting additions.
