The Galaxy S6 is rumored to sport an aluminium build, which would be a first in the Galaxy S series. And while the S5's IP67 rating keeps it waterproof for a certain amount of time, the S6 will reportedly have an IP68 rating which means that the phone could be immersed in water for a longer period of time.

Screen:
The Galaxy S5 has a screen which measures 5.1 inches, a resolution of 1920 x 1080, and AMOLED technology which results in clear and crisp images.

In comparison, the S6 will reportedly have a more superior 2K screen at 5.2 inches, which means that the resolution will be 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Camera:
The S5's camera has a 16MP sensor, but the S6 is rumored to take things further with a 20MP sensor and an even better front-facing camera, which is so essential to the selfie. The S6's front-facing camera will reportedly be in the 7 or 8MP range, or possibly 13MP, rivaling that of the ultimate selfie phone in the market, the HTC Desire Eye.

The Galaxy S5 is now out in the market. As for the S6, it is expected that the smartphone will be launched at the Mobile World Congress on March 2-5, 2015. It is also said to be pricier than its predecessor, which costs $600 without SIM card.
