Samsung Galaxy S7 News: New Flagship Tipped to Come With Improved Camera
When it comes to smartphones, Samsung is one of the top brands that consumers run to, and for the past years, the company has not failed its community, especially with the improvement of specs and features, such as the camera, with every flagship released.
The Korean tech giant is busy these days as it preps for the release of the alleged Galaxy S7 that would follow the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, which are both now over a year old in the market.
It doesn't come as a surprise that fans are now clamoring for another model as it has become a tradition to upgrade devices to the most recent release in either one or less than a year. With the Galaxy S7, an upgraded camera is said to come.
According to Tech Radar, Samsung has recently unveiled a new and improved technology during the Electronics' Investors Forum, called BRITECELL. The company revealed several features that the camera built under the new technology is expected to come with.
Samsung phones are known for their cameras' spectacular performance and the new technology promises a new sensor that features an RWB filter, which will be in favor of low light shots. An additional 1.0 micron pixels have also been installed in the camera, meaning the size of the sensor has now been reduced and potential buyers should expect a lens that doesn't protrude just as the one in the Galaxy S6.
While it is unclear if the BRITECELL technology will be available in the upcoming smartphone, rumor has it that Samsung may have come up with the perked up system for the purpose of a better, smaller, and more efficient camera for the Galaxy S7.
Meanwhile, GSM Arena reports that a new leak from the "usually reliable leakster" Evan Blass (@evleaks) may conclude that the S7 variants dubbed to be the SM-G9301 and the SM-G935A may already be under the testing center of AT&T.
The leak also unveils a number of accessories believed to come with the new flagship namely: Glitter Cover, Clear View Cover, S View Cover, and the Keyboard Cover.
While almost everything about the S7 are merely rumors, Samsung is expected to release some information in the coming month that would appease fans who are anticipating the release of the new flagship.
